Over a year ago, Boise State’s Office of Systems and Process Improvement embarked on a journey to implement an entirely different financial system that included implementing a new chart of accounts, modified business processes across departments and a change in perspective to big data and standardized system functionality.
We will be celebrating this business innovation from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Jan. 26 at the Process Improvement Symposium.
Members of the campus community are invited to nominate yourself or others for innovation in business processes big and small. Nominate individuals that lead change with a positive and proactive attitude, eliminate shadow systems, and work to improve efficiency across campus. Those selected will be rewarded with cash prizes ranging from $50-$200.
Nominations are open on OrgSync (link to OrgSync) until Dec. 16. All you have to do to nominate is answer these four questions:
- Who are you nominating?
- What was the business problem or issue?
- What was the process improvement solution?
- What were the outcomes?
