Employees locked out of Time and Labor entry and approval

All employees are currently locked out of Time and Labor entry and approval screens for all pay periods, this is due to the PeopleSoft Finance project. Access will be restored Friday, July 1st in the afternoon, time entry is due Tuesday, July 5th.

YEAR-END REMINDERS 2015

  • W-2’s will be distributed in January. If you have recently moved, there are two ways to change your address: 1) via MY.BOISESTATE or 2) call Human Resource Services at 426-1616.
    All address changes must be made by January 18, 2016.
  • Boise State University is required by the IRS to furnish employees with a Form W-2 Wage and Tax Statement each calendar year. The W-2 details an employee’s taxable compensation and tax withholding amounts for the year and is used to complete the employee’s annual income tax return. The default method of receipt is a printed and mailed form.

    You may choose to receive your Form W-2 electronically rather than as a printed and mailed document. To receive your 2015 W-2 electronically, you must consent via MY.BOISESTATE by Monday, January 18, 2016. (If you previously consented to electronic delivery, you do not need to consent again.)

    Why electronic delivery? You receive access to your W-2 sooner, save the university mailing costs, and still have the ability to print a hard copy of your W-2.

  • Form 8233: You will receive notification from the GLACIER database when the tax treaty renewal period begins (mid November). You will need to access your GLACIER record, update your information, print your 2016 Form 8233 and submit it to:

    All forms must be submitted no later than December 9, 2015. Please email taxreporting@boisestate.edu if you have questions.

  • If your filing status, exemption allowances or exempt status has changed since your last W-4 Form was filed, you can update through MY.BOISESTATE or submit a completed and signed W-4 Form to Payroll, use this link https://vpfa.boisestate.edu/payroll/w-2-and-w-4/ for instructions.

Holiday closures 2015

Check out the upcoming paid holidays and university closure days on the 2015 Holiday and Payday Calendar. For December 28th, 29th and 30th, Classified, Professional and Faculty 12-month only will need to enter Comp Time and/or Vacation Leave into Time and Labor for that week.

Spring 2016 Letters of Appointment

Spring 2016 Letters of Appointment (LoAs) are due on December 4th. The effective begin date will be 1/3/2016 for all LoAs. Click here for the official form.
