Kenneth J. Kline joined Boise State in July 2015 as Associate Vice President for Budget and Planning.
Kline is a seasoned budget professional with more than 11 years of experience in higher education, six years in private industry, and five years in municipal government. He was most recently Senior Director/Chief Budget Officer for Northern Kentucky University, where he managed a general fund budget in excess of $220 million.
Prior to joining Northern Kentucky, Kline served as the business systems and financial planning manager for Cornell University from 2004-2007 and as the district vice president and implementation manager for Ceridian (1998-2004), a leading global provider of human resources, payroll, benefits and payment solutions.
Kline earned his MBA from Cornell University in 2008 and a Master of Arts in Economics from The Ohio State University in 1992.
Kline will provide leadership and vision in the coordination and evaluation of the university’s strategic budget processes and the creation, evaluation and implementation of university budgetary procedures and policy. Key to Kline’s style is his ability to effectively translate financial information to a variety of constituents.
